CayFilm receives $10,000 from CITA

We are delighted to report that CayFilm Partner, Cayman Islands Tourism Association, has donated $10,000 as part of their pledge of support for the success of CayFilm Cayman International Film Festival 2015.

“The Cayman Islands Tourism Association is pleased to be one of the first Partners of CayFilm 2015. CITA held its last International Underwater Film Festival on November 13, last year, where it was announced that it would now be handed over to the CayFilm festival team. We are sponsoring CI$10,000 from our Taste of Cayman funds to promote tourism to the Cayman Islands through this unique and exciting venture. There is an increase of people combining travel with festivals of this kind, whilst taking advantage of different destinations. With the expectancy of movie stars, new film releases, and exceptional events, along with educational workshops and seminars, CITA believes CayFilm will open the doors to vacationers who want to combine their love of travel with their passion for films. We wish them the very best success. ”

Jane Scaletta, Executive Director, CITA

“We are delighted to have CITA on board as a Partner of CayFilm. This level of support is reserved for companies or institutions that are instrumental to the success of the event in an exceptional way. CITA will work with the CayFilm team to reach Cayman’s tourism market and help us promote this new attraction around the world. We also look forward to the continued development the Cayman Underwater Film Festival, traditionally hosted by CITA, under the CayFilm umbrella. ”
